Downward Spiral of The Family Values Tour 2006 official community forums submits us his review of the show in Houston, Texas.

First time seeing KoRn and what can I say? Kicked ass!

From the moment they got on stage to the time they left, I was up on my feet jammin' and they sounded great.

There was a funky style guitar riff for "Freak on a Leash," I really liked the slight variant of it.

The only time I left because I had to use the bathroom was during the "Hollow Life" acoustic performance. I don't know but I appreciate them coming out to the crowd and they sounded good. I liked their set but I wish they had of played "Thoughtless" since I think we got shorted one song or so.

However, they still fucking rocked!

Elsewhere, Japanese rockers Dir En Grey were Okay.

In terms of the concert I really couldn't get into them since I couldn't understand what they were saying and what was up with the blood? Apparently it's pretty common over in Japan for those theatrics. Since I was so close to stage, I realized these guys are short as hell.

All in all, background music.

Stone Sour weree better than Dir En Grey but those guys looked liked washed up rockers who are trying to come back.

The guitarist on the right side of the stage looked like he was about to get into the power stance and rock to the rock Gods -- kind of cheesy looking.

Music wasn't bad but I wouldn't buy it.

Fellow headliners the Deftones rocked! They were definitely a great live act and although I only knew two songs, I enjoyed their entire performance.
