KoRn.Simpol.Net - The Family Values Tour 2006

A fan on The Family Values Tour 2006 official community forums submits us his/her review of KoRn's performance in Holmdel, New Jersey.

It was like a circus there with all the games and the freakshow. It was awesome; unlike any show I have ever been to.

Being a farely new Dir En Grey fan I was so excited to be that close to them and I have to say, other than KoRn, they put on the best show there. It blew me away! I ended up buying another one of there CDs, which was sighend by them.

Next was Flyleaf and never being a huge fan of them I have to say they were pretty damn good. I was even tempted to buy a CD. They [done] good set and a cover song, which actually sounded awesome.

Stone Sour fucking destroyed... It was great! I have been a huge fan since I got their first CD and their new one is just as amazing, if not better. They put on a great live show too. The guitarist was awesome as hell and the "Bother" and "Through Glass" songs were fantastic.

Deftones wer next and they weren't bad. I only saw the end, though, and some of the songs were great, but some I just couldn't get into. They put on a pretty good show, though, and I really liked the guitarist's guitar.

KoRn ended, of course, and they put on an amazing show. They opened with "Right Now" and the crowd went nuts, it was great. They played alot of great songs and a few off the new record, which I enjoyed, being a huge fan of the new record. Chino came out and did "Wicked" and Corey from Stone Sour came out and did the end to "Freak on a Leash".

We thought it was the end as the lights went out but KoRn apeared at the sound box, which was right in front of me. I almost cried. They did an acoustic pefromance of "Hollow Life" and they ended on "Blind" and the crowd went nuts. They shot confetti out of the stage and shit it was great -- one of the best shows I have seen.

All in all, it was an amazing night!
